Hello,

I've had a 1TB desktop expansion hard drive for a few months now. Today, when I tried to turn it on, it simply wouldn't start. When I connect it to a power plug, it doesn't start spinnning like it did before. Not even when I plug it into the USB port. The computer doesn't recognize it either. It just keeps blinking the green light.

Is there anything I can do (besides taking it to the assistance)? I have my music collection in it, and I haven't got a backup of it because it's huge

Assuming that your AC adapter is OK, I would remove the drive from its enclosure and connect it directly to your computer's motherboard.

Did you drop the drive? Did you overvolt it with the wrong AC adapter?
