I was able to get the Maxtor OneTouch software to install & the drive is listed under device manager but the drive doesn't show up under the Maxtor OneTouch software.

I do remember putting a password on the drive however I can't seem get any fuctionality from the OneTouch software to disable it. The OneTouch software acts like there is no drive even with Windows seeing it.

I seem to recall that there used to be an icon in the taskbar with this software that I could right click and "add drive" then enter a long alphanumeric code that would "add the drive", I have this code but I don't see any taskbar functionality to enter the code into...

What am I doing wrong here?

If the troubleshooter doesn't resolve your problem, could you please post the report from Microsoft's UVCView utility?
