I've been very unhappy with the Maxor Manager. It will not recognize my Maxtor One Touch 4 1TB external drive although the drive shows up fine in the Windows browser. I think this occured after it did an update of the software. It does not show up on the Add or Remove programs list. Their does not appear to be any uninstall in the installed directory. I tried to run the original installation program from my drive and it reports an error since a newer version is already installed. So if this program is useless I would just like to get rid of it off of my computer, unless anyone else has any suggestion on how to make it recognize the drive.
Thanks for any help possible.

Good luck, I've sent in 2 email request the 1st on 12/29 and I'm still waiting for their 24 hour response.
Just poor customer service out of the box.

I finally received 1 reply yesterday that only sent me to the following link:
But the fix action here was to start a service. Buy my system does not even have that service installed. So I'm guessing that is the problem, but I'm waiting to find out how to get the service setup so it can be started.
Just waiting for another reply now.

well that doesnt make much sence now does it
why should there be a temporary "service" to uninstall something they wanted us to have installed to use the product indefinately?
Why not just leave us with a file we can download and use at anytime?

This will help you uninstall it.
