i just got my Seagate 1tb external hard drive. i registered the product then deleted the Seagate folder. Now the icon shows

I tryed right clicking on the hard drive going to properties and changing the folder picture. Also i unpluged and plug back in

I am now having the exact same problems. it's because we probably had the "hidden files" option on when we deleted everything in the drive before putting our own stuff in.

I'm also looking for the seagate expansion 1tb icon  + autorun. we need those 2 files to be able to load the icon back to the normal seagate hdd image.

if you are able to get it please let me know as well, been looking for it all day.

I'm also missing the seagate expansion hard disk icon (The one with the seagate logo), where can I find it?

You can recreate the icon file by doing the following:

• Pull up Notepad on your computer
• Into the body, type 

           [autorun]

      ICON=Expansion.ico 

• Click FILE > SAVE AS, then save as AUTORUN.TXT to the root [ base level ] of the Expansion drive
• Rename the autorun.txt file to autorun.inf

Where is this Expansion.ico icon located?

I can see a small harddisk icon (.ico) already on the usb drive which is currently being used. Instead of the seagate logo icon.

  Where is the root [ base level ]  on my segate expansion drive?

I have the following files already on my seagate usb hdd drive

Autorun.inf contains the following text

------------------------- -------------

[autorun] icon=\SeagateDesktop.ico

----------------------------------

and a harddisk icon called SeagateDesktop.ico

Its the seagate logo.ico icon file that im missing
