Hey there people. I'm new at this so please dont moan at me if this has already been answered
Anyways, I recentaly bought a '1TB Seagate Desktop External Hard Drive' (can't find the really name anywhere if it is anywhere) but I tried formatting it in Windows Comand Prompt and after waiting around 20hours for it to format it just said at the end that the 'Volume is to big to format'.
Ive been looking around for something to format it into FAT32 but nothing seems to point me in correct direction.
Anybody have any ideas or software for me to use please as I really want to connect this to my PS3 asap.
Thanks, Dan Courtnage

I recently bought a 1TB Seagate External Hardrive. I wish to use thos hardrive with my xbox 360 but I need to reformat it to FAT32. Currently, the hardrive is on NTFS and when I right click and select format the only option is to select NTFS. Do I need to download FAT32? Can anybody help ?
Also, I may have made a bit of a mistake as I selected "Quick Format" and then cancelled when led to the hardrive going from "External Hardrive" with a small icon of the hardrive to "Local Disk (:E)". Is this significant? As long as I can change the format to Fat32 it should work? Also I can no longer view what is in the hardrive, if anything. I had no files bar the default Seagate folder, autorun and BOOTSECT.BAT
