Hi All,

 

My Maxtor One Touch Mini Ext.Hard Drive Model no:

 

STM902503OTD3E1-RK

 

i use on my Windows 7 laptop,to store system images,

 

connecting the 2  cables is more often then not,a gamble,

 

sometimes it won't get  connected

 

i have to connect/disconnect the cables several times,

 

before the light on the drive will light up,

 

which shows that it is connected.

 

İt started getting very annoying.

 

Anything i could do?

 

Drivers to update to perhaps?

 

Windows says no newer driver is available,

 

and driver works correctly.

 

Any suggestions?

i All again,

 

i solved my own problem,

 

by attaching my other ext.hard drives cables  (Seagate)

 

to my Maxtor Mini,

 

and it lit right up.

 

Apparently its cables are no longer good.
