Hello,
after moving to a new apartment, I seem to not to be able to recognize, which of those dozen unconnected power supply adapters did come with my USB hard drive.
Someone using similar product, can you please read the specifications from your adapter?
Information I am looking for is manufacturer name / adapter type, is input/output AC/DC, how many Volts (V) and Amperes (A or mA). Finally adapter states, which one of the pins is +, which - (Inner or outer).
Thank you in advance!

Hello Alan,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I had actually seen the article you mention, from list of frequently asked questions you have listed at top of this forum.
Call me illiterate, but I cannot seem to find the Maxtor Basics External Desktop -series mentioned among all the external drives. Can you please point me, which one of the codes (Like 3000LE or similar mentioned) points to Maxtor Basic?
Thank you again for your assistance!

Hmm, good point. I'll have to see if I can get that drive model added.
Look at the power output specs on those adapters in the article - the one you need for your Maxtor Basics drive should be the same.
