Maxtor One Touch4Plus was unplugged..now its not recognized on Mac. Please help

I was in the middle of copying some files from my mac onto my Maxtor 1 touch4plus.  My son knocked the harddrive on the floor (KIDS!) and it unplugged from the wall outlet.  Now when I try to plug in, it will not recognize.  It wont even turn on.  The Hard Drive is blinking when I have it plugged into the wall and NOT the Mac.  Once I plug the FireWire into the Mac, then it just stays off.

I am not sure if I Fried my firewire cable, the cable port, or the drive.  What Can I do to see what the issue is and fix it?  Thank you.
