My 2tb external 9sf2a8-500 isn't working!!!

I bought a Seagate 2tb external hard drive mid-late last year and it worked the first time i connected it to my desktop, but now it isn't working at all. When i plug it in nothing happens, the light doesn't even light up.... What can i do??

Check that the power plug is inserted into the socket fully. Mine is also a bit dodgy and I have to push it and twist it a bit to get it powered up sometimes.

 

If it still doesn't work try with another power pack. It is just a 12V 1.5Amp power pack, nothing special
