I'm having the same problem, I backed up all my data onto my Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini before reformating my PC HD, aswell as setting up a security on my OneTouch. Windows recognizes my OneTouch, but the software wizard doesn't apear.

For software you will need to contact Support directly. This is a peer to peer forum.. unfortunately no one here can send you software.

I noticed a link for the one touch III software in a previous post...isn't there a site for the 4 series software download?  I am needing it NOW and tech support is still sending me automated suggested fixes in my email.  My "Safely Remove Hardware" senses my device, but I no longer have the M icon or software program in my program files.

I decided to wait in queue for a chat response and was given a link for the mini 4 software.  Unfortunately, now I have an error message when trying to bring up the maxtor manager!  Oh, well, another wait in queue tomorrow!

hello , when you install the new application did you uninstall the previous one ??

after the unistallation check in the registry if something is in relation with the application , remove it and resinstall the application again , it should work

I have locked my hdd on one pc that does not work any more.

Hello! I need some help, I sent a email on 10 nov 08 with the sn nubers and the other information about my onetouch 4 mini but i have no answer yet.

I had a mistake formatting my HDD from bios thinking to format my internal drive. So now i can read my hdd. Even if winxp see something but i dont see anything in "My computer". I tried to resend a email from a link...but i cant register to open a support case because there are some technical problem, the site told me.

There are someone that can help me?Some one who have the software needed should be so kind to send me by email?
