OneTouch 4 Mini: "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

Hi All -

When I click on my Maxtor drive I am getting the following error:

E:\ is not accessible.
The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

I really need this data - does any one have a suggestion on how to get to my data?

FYI: I got the same message when I tried to access the data via another computer.
