I need OneTouch 4 Plus software because I did have a problem with my machine and I had to reinstall Windows XP Home. Windows can't recognize my external Hard Disk Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus of 1000 Gb and I can't run the software that is in the external disk.
Can somebody tell me how do I contact them? Cuz I did try by going through the support page...but no one replied me...I'm still desperately in need of the software to unlock my OneTouch 4 Plus...

Question:Why is the Maxtor 4 Plus software so hard to get? Why must I go through customer service to get a copy of it so I can use my drive that I bought from ebay?
It's not hard to get, you just have to contact Tech Support for it.
The reason is that it includes encryption (ie, drive-locking) abilities, and there is one large country in --ahem-- the east of Asia that is allergic to free flow of information and secrets kept from its government. So we can't put the download online for anyone; we have to verify what country they're contacting us from. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
