Problem with OneTouch4 Mini

   Hi
Just got my Maxtor OneTouch4 Mini.
To my amazement when I ran the "test  the drive"  feature in Maxtor manager it gave me a red
"Defective" result suggesting that I back up and that the drive needed service.
This unit is brand new out of the box from Amazon.com
It seems to accept files ok when I do a transfer in Windows Explorer. My laptops HD is NTFC format as is the mini's HD.
Any suggestions on anything I should try before trying to return it to Amazon????

Did you test it with their other tool seatools?  It is on their downloads page, has saved me from sending in a few drives over the years.
