Success... I think. Tried the procedure on the linked page above, but it didn't work. Followed the link on that page to a Microsoft page. Followed the procedure there (after disconnecting the Replica). Reconnected the Replica, and it began creating a System Recovery point. That's where I am right now. Hope it doesn't take doing that every time... Erg. Good luck to you all.
