Good evening. I recently purchased a Seagate external drive.  I am in the process of transferring pictures from Picassa, a photoshop program.  After I have saved the pictures/folder in the external drive, I delete the pictures in the Picassa program.  Unfortunately, any pictures deleted in Picassa are also deleted simultaneously in the external drive.

Any suggestions?

How did you copy / delete them ?... just copy an paste to a folder you created on the external.

Are you using "sync"?  That will match folders... delete one, that program will "match" and delet the external copy.
