Seagate Expansion 1tb Clicking and not Working

Hi my brand new External Expansion drive has stopped working after I have just moved everything across from my computer to format it. It worked at first then I plugged it on and it had a faint beeping sound and the green light was on but nothing, now it makes a loud beeping clocking noise and sounds like its trying to start up with the green light but that's all it doesn't show up anywhere on my computer and I don't know what to do please help!!!

Here is a link to our external troubleshooter. If none of the steps help, we would recommend that you take the drive back to the place of purchase since it was recently purchased.

Seagate Expansion 1tb Lights up,hums but doesn't work

I have a seagate 1tb expansion,it was working fine an then it dropped by mistake. When I plugged it back in, the LED light came on as normal, and it also hums normally as it should with no clicking or anyother noises,but my computer doesn't pick it up, neither does any other computer i plug it into. I tried the Seagate diagnostic tools but even that cant pick up that the external is plugged in or that it is even there. HELP please I dont know what to do.

Is the drive detected in Disk Management? Have you tried connecting it to another computer? You can also take a look at our external drive troubleshooter to see if it helps:

I have tried the seagate troubleshoot program doesn't work,I have tried the external on other compusters laptops and even a mac,and no difference. Device manager doesn't pick it up either,on either of the computers I have tried. I'm really stumped because the hard drive is lighting up and humming like it should,like there's nothing wrong but computers aren't reading it at all. I have even tried other power cables and usb cables and the problem persits.....HELP please

Thank you for the numbers for the customer line, however I am currently in Swaziland, small country on the bottom tip of Africa, and I was wondering if you would have any numbers I could call which are in South Africa or somewhere in the Southern African region as call charges overseas are beyond exorbitant and almost extortionary. Thanks again for the help :smileyhappy:
