Beeping sounds usually point to power problems with the drive.
To find out if this is the issue, try replacing the cable.
Try attaching the drive to another port or computer, then see if the beeping continues. Should you have a powered USB hub, also use this with the drive.

If you've tried different cables and computers, then the drive is damaged. Are you comfortable with the idea of taking the drive out of the enclosure, then connecting it internally to a computer? Should you be, you can contact our warranty department prior to doing this so you don't lose warranty coverage:
