I have two 465GB drives on my Windows XP (32-bit), 4GB computer. I am trying to run System Clean-up, but it keeps crashing or erroring out with "Black Armor Backup is not functioning" (it used to). I get, Scan is completed. 412,662 items found. Below is the detailed list of the found items: ... an hourglass is next to the System Clean-up root entry in the tree (left pane). It never comes back from there. I tried deleting everything from the second drive. I did a delete, not a move to the recycle bin. I suspect that since the operation is to wipe slack space, that it is attempting to create a list of the deleted files.
Has anyone been successful with 400k files? Does someone have a work-around? Right now, I cannot use this part of the software suite and it is the part in which I am interested. I have a lot of other applications that want to run backups for me.
