XP Safe Mode

I have a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus on my Windows XP computer that is running on safe mode.

When I try to start the software I get the following error:

Error 1084: Service cannot be started in safe mode.

Please advise.

Try booting into regular Windows, not safe mode.  Try the software then.
