Help please! My Maxtor One Touch has worked fine for several years, and now has all of a sudden begun to make terrible noises. Windows does not see it, so I cannot access anything on it. Is my data lost??
If the buzzing is the HD.. that's not good. No internal fans or anything like that ?
One last suggestion is removing the HD from the case (get someone knowledgeable) and hooking up just the HD to a PC, or get a replacement external USB case.
