Hi radray, still haven't found a solution for that broken USB? I've got the same drive, but I don't know what you mean by the "the usb broke on the board"
Do you mean the usb port is broken from the drive adaptor circuit board. I haven't opened mine up, but I'm pretty sure that the drive is a standard SATA interface, so you should be able to use any USB to SATA adaptor compatible with 3.5" (12V) drive

Yes, it is the USB port has broken off the board. I want to try and find a enclosure but the only one I found outside of eBay is from best buy for $60.00+. I only paid 100.00 for the drive it self. I'll try and look for adapters and maybe I can just use it bare w/o the case. Ok, any more ideas would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you

If I'm going to replace the enclosure I'm going to select the replacement based on the following:
1. Sata I/II/III capable
2. Can access up to 2tb or more
Be sure that the size will fit your 2 tb hdd model. 3.5" or 2.5" ?
