hi,
what kind of temperatures are these external drives supposed to run on? all my other external / internal disks are running at ~30ºC.
the graphic below is showing temperatures for a period of two hours after the first power-on. activity happened only in the first half-hour or so (copying files).
is ~45ºC normal?
thanks!

Newer Seagate Expansion drives can safely operate up to 60° C. I have two of them and they usually run in the 50's without problems.
