Hello,
I recently purchased a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini to backup my Mac that is running OS X 10.4.11. I've completed the Mac formatting step during installation. I open the Maxtor Manager, and go to the Backup icon. I click "Backup Now" and it says "Gathering file data", and then it delivers the error message: "Your backup might not be complete due to errors. Please see the log." However, there's no link to the log, or any indication of where the log files are kept. I tried using Finder to search for folders matching "Maxtor", but none of them seemed to contain the log files. In another message in this community it was suggested that there would be a link that said "read log files", but I see no such link on any of the subsections of the Maxtor Manager.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ran into the same problem with same version of Mac OS. Couldn't find any log files. Did you get any suggestions?
