Good evening,
i would like to ask you about my external HHD Samsung Story Station 1,5 TB. I bought this HDD in shop center Makro - Praha Průhonice Czech Republic two years and two months ago. We have warranty for two years in the Czech Republic. When we bought HDD the company Samsung said to us, that we have warranty for three years. I would like to ask you about warranty HDD for now. What is the warranty period after the takeover by Samsung Seagate?
I have problem with my HDD. One day i tried to turn on my HDD when it suddenly stop worked. I think that the problem is with power exectly i mean the swich. I think itself HDD for 99% is OK. When i try to turn on the swich doesnt light and HDD doesnt run. Unfortunatelly we dont have an authorized service center for Samsung in the Czech Republic. When i called to an authorized service center, they said us that they have to somewhere in Europe. I have everything on my HDD. I dont want to lose (absolutely) anything. I think that an authorize servise it send somewhere to your company. What can i do now? I would like to repair just power (if is is possible) and dont lose anything!
