Hello,

When a new version of Seatools compatible with the Samsung HDDs will be available?

I have defective Samsung HDD units (both internal and external), Seatools recognize the HDDs and detect the errors, but does not generate Test Codes. I tested 2.23 (DOS version) and 1.2.0.5 (Windows version), and had no results.

Observations:

1) The Samsung warranty checker site ( www.samsunghdd.com ) directs to Seagate's homepage.

2) Seagate's Warranty Checker recognize HDD serial numbers and confirms that the items are in warranty.

In addtion, the current version of SeaTools doesn't support more then 12 hard drives, it simply runs out of screen room and no scrolling or window resize compatibility to access the rest of hard drives. For sure if the useless banners on top and bottom were removed it would fix some of the problem.
