Hello everyone.
I have a vintage computer in my collection that I'm trying to get running. One of the only other people with a similar system running tells me that their hard drives are ST19171WD. The problem is the firmware is modded on the drives that go with the system. Mine doesn't seem to acknowledge any of the standard disks I've connected.
Is there a utility in the wild that can retrieve the firmware from these old disks? The company that made the system left the platform years ago, and moved to SAN storage. I've asked them about the disks but haven't gotten a reply.
It's just used for geeking out, not a business.
