Difference between SATA , SAS and FC Hard Disks

I am keen to know that how SAT, SAS, FC Disks differs from each other.

short answer, fc is a totally different interface.  sata and sas are too, but sata drives can be connected to a sas controller too and i think the cables are either really similar or the same
