Replacing Barracuda ES with Constellation ES

Hi,

That proved helpful, but I now have run into a similar situation, where I have a ST3250310NS that has failed. I can no longer source this and the only available drive is a ST500NM0011. So both are different sizes and models.

 

The RAID controller I have some Adaptec HostRAID. Seems to be a little decent.

 

So would the ST500NM0011 be compatible? If not, what would be the better alternative.
