I was irritated that the SeaTools for Dos did not make it easy to create a bootable DOS disc on B: (I finally guesed to use a /b parameter when running the disc creation program). Once created, I booted to the Dos disc and SeaTools shows the legal Disclaimer screen but my mouse and keyboard do not work. Because I have an external keyboard/mouse/monitor sharing device, I plugged a new keyboard and mouse directly into the PC and rebooted but they still do not work. I know the keyboard works in Dos because Ctrl+Alt+Del quits the program in both cases.
1) How do I get the application to recognize my keyboard and mouse?
2) I run Windows XP Pro SP2 with all current updates. When i run the SeaTools for windows and attempt any actions (like basic disc test) the system crashes. I downloaded and reinstalled by this has had no effect. Could the problem be due to the controller used (it is not on my motherboard.)?
3) How do i get a copy of the old PowerMax or whatever tools that will run a diagnostics on my drives?
Thanks
