hi!
just bought this HDD last week and m experiencing extermely slow data transfrer rate.
so i downloaded seatools and checked the drive.
when i ran Seatools for Windows the Short DST and Long DST both failed
while Short Generic and Long Genric were passed.
unsatisfied with the results, i rechecked the drive on a different computer.. same results.
so i thought of replacng the drive but i tried to give it one more try, so i downloaded Seatools for Dos and checked the drive.
Here it has passed all the tests.
What could be the possible problem. do i need to repartion the drive?
Or is the drive faulty? shall i send it for warranty claims??
