Hi,
I have two Maxtors 7Y250M0, due to an overheating the Smart appear tripped, but i run short and long test and the two disks pass all the tests. i also tried to do full erases and also these done well.
Apparently the Disks are healty, but because of this Smart trip I can't use properly in raid systems or in pc where the smart function is enable.
Do you have suggestions?
Is there a tool to reset Smart status?
