I have a hp xp machine with a 80gb Seagate Momentus 7200.1 ST980825A 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" IDE Ultra ATA100. It has been really slow lately so I ran the seatools for windows and the smart test failed. So I tried to run the dos version, it finds the drive, I try any of the tests, they start to run and then the laptop just shuts off. I can't run any of the tests, any ideas?
