Occasionally central drive freezes when backing up, noticed yellow " ! "under Other Devices - Seagate Central NAS 1D indicating driver not installed. Unable to find driver to fix. Running Vista. Please help.

The Windows driver should not effect the functionality of our Central Network drive. You may disable or remove this driver.
Do you have this drive wired into your router and is your computer hard wired into your network? If the Central is on a wireless ntework, please try on a wired connection to see if this helps with backup performance. Also, please check to see if there are any firmware updates to the Central drive as this may help with backup performance. Click on the link below for instructions:

I'm getting the same error in Windows (Vista x64 SP2) - see screenshot. Per Mountain Tech's comments, doesn't seem to impact function of the device but it is a bit of a loose end. I submitted a case through to Seagate support and they just rather unhelpfully stated that no drivers are required.
Did you ever fix it?
