So, are you receiving some sort of error message?
When does it occur?
The Central should not require any extra drivers, so we have to investigate.

Please try "don't show this message again" and then let me know what happens and how the Central behaves.

Today I tried moving the central from a connection via a switch, to a direct connection to the router (netgear WPN824 v2) in an effort to make it work, by exactly following the instructions.
When the central boots, the message pops up.
It didn't solve the problem, so I moved it back to through the switch.
When the central boots, the message pops up
Selecting "don't show this message again", turns the message off, but leaves me with a yellow icon in device manager

I'm getting the same error (Vista x64 SP2). I submitted a support case and Seagate came back with the rather unhelpful statement that no drivers are required for Windows. Doesn't seem to affect function of the device, I can access all features, but it is a bit of a loose end having this yellow exclamation point in device manager.
Did you ever fix it?

Hi, I can't perform a back up succesfully with my
Dashboard for a Central 2T. Now I've found that W7 asks for a driver for my NAS HD, as shown in the attached document.
