i just purchased the Seagate Central, and have been playing with it today.
i have copied some photos from my laptop to the public "photos" folder. the photos are in folders themselves.
as i wanted to share a specific folder with my family, i logged in via the remote access, and did the sharing thing from there - by choosing share via link (and not requiring my contact to login).
i sent them the mail, and they got it - and i also noticed that when i go to "setting" - i see the folder in the "shared" folders, and the list of mails i have sent to.
however, when they press the link in theeir e-mails, they get a notice (after some "loading..." notice), stating: "You do not have sufficient rights to access this share".
when i tried to enter the share myself, in the remote access, i get the same notice.
i am no netwrok expert, just a simple user, and would highly appreciate any help anyone can provide. being able to share a lot of photos with family and friends was a major cretiria in buying such a device, and this problem kind of making it useless.
thanks in advance to any helper!
