Accepted Solution

Bad URL

On the forums pages, I saw noscript forbidding seagate.comjavascript (no / between com and javascript).  In the source I see:

Can someone correct this?

where

[ Edited ]

In the page source for any page on this forum (including forums.seagate.com), in the call to swfobjects.js.

the last few lines in the html source contain:

</script><script src="http://www.seagate.com/javascript/jquery-latest.pack.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="http://www.seagate.com/javascript/jquery.popupwindow.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="http://www.seagate.com/javascript/jquery.printpage.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="http://www.seagate.com/javascript/jquery.getParams.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="http://www.seagate.com/javascript/jquery.pngfix.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
<script src="http://www.seagate.com/javascript/swfobject.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="http://www.seagate.com/javascript/library.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="https://www.seagate.com/lib/common.js"></script>
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="https://www.seagate.com/lib/errorhandle.js"></script>

Those lines are right before the /body /html.

Note: when I paste this in and hit POST it gives me an error for that invalid HTML - because of the coding error.  The line is in RED above and is really seagate.comjavascript/swfobjects.js, I had to fix it to even post this.

Otherwise, VIEW SOURCE and search for seagate.comjava you will find it.

Thanks for the bump.  The escalation apparently got lost in the Christmas holiday.  I've pinged the developer again.
