Ok, so apparently I can't even post to the forums using Internet Explorer 9.
And it seems that is also the culprit in my original complaint. I cannot submit the e-mail or chat support case forms to initiate talks with warranty or technical support concerning my Momentum XT hard drive. I am supposed to choose product name, sub product 1, sub product 2 in the form's fields. However, using IE9 I cannot choose an item in the sub product 2 field and thus the form refuses to be submitted.

I wouldnt worry that your browser wont let you contact support because even if U get to send them an email dont expect to get a response.
12 emails first on the 5 July 2011 and its now the 20 Aug 2011 and I am still waiting on an outcome.

I paid for advanced replacement and they have not shipped yet although the time window for them to ship has passed. So much for trying to give Seagate a chance again. Support and warrantly really stinks.
