What web browser were you using when you received that error? And have you tried other browsers to see if you can finish the process?

I'd also advise clearing the cache, then retrying. Let me know how this works out for you.

A bit different now..

Now using the 3rd PC (still Internet explorer 9), I got past the captcha to https://store.seagate.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SgWarrantyStatusView?langId=-1&storeId=11001&kry...:smileyfrustrated:

I then click "Continue", after which I get the error "The add product function is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

In plain English, RMA isn't possible...

Please try another browser such as Chrome or Firefox to see if you get a better result and let me know how that works out.

Same error

I am seeing the same error, when I try to return two drives, after entering the information, clicking continue, confirming hte information, clicking continue, I get to a screen that says:

"The add product function is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
This happens in Chrome, in Chrome restarted with a clean cache, and in Firefox.  I'd like Seagate to honour my warranty.  Why isn't that happening?

Using the same Internet Explorer, on the same PC, I was all of the sudden able to make the warrenty request. So I'm guessing the error is time-dependant.

Since this error DOES happen, I'm suggesting that the webmasters add an internal debug-counter to that page, also saving the internal variables for debugging. Behind every website (even dynamic pages) is human programming - and all humen make mistakes :smileyhappy:

I have the same issue

I got the same "add product function is temporarily unavailable" error after I click Continue on the Warranty Status page.  I restarted IE8 and re-login many times but the problem is till there.

CMN3101E The system is unavailable due to "{0}".

I get this error when I try to print a mailing label.

This is step 3 of the RMA process. I am using Safari on a Mac with OS 10.6.7
