Setting avatar

On page Help / My Settings , under "To change your avatar" Item (2) says,

"You can choose one of the community avatars, or if you have permission, you can upload an image or use one located on another web page."

Q: So how do I get such permission?

"If your community account is connected to your Facebook account, you can use your Facebook profile photo as your avatar."

Q: So how do I connect my community account to my Facebook account?

Hey Rich,

 

Welcome to the forum.  I did a little investigating and found this out.  You already know that avatars can be changed but that you need certain permissions to do so.  So, to clarify that the permission is given to SeaGurus only but we are looking into opening it up to more members in the near future.

 

 Also, facebook connect is not currently available on the community
