Agree, it feels like this forum isn't well maintained. The only mod that regularly replies is AlanM. But still, most of the threads / questions are unanswered. Seagate should manage this forum more seriously

Many of the post don't contain enough info to give an answer. Some international users post here and often lose some meaning in translation. Seagate does provide tech support through chat, phone, and email if needed. I think that if seagate did have a support person here people would complain that the didn't get a quick answer. For proper support the discussion needs to be interactive and a forum is a poor method for that. The moderators answers some question, but it is not their job. I'm not a part of Seagate just another user.
